Our mission is to empower individuals with world class coaching and support to reach their goals and live the lives they always dreamed of living.

We believe empathetic support and partnership, emotionally intelligent interactions, and evidence-based guidance and knowledge sharing can make a profound impact in an individual’s life.

Every individual is capable of growth beyond measure.



In 2024, Roots Health and Wellness Partners was established. Our founders, Sydnie Adkins and Nick Paladino, a pair of high-school sweet hearts that managed to grow, learn, and develop together, were coming off the heels of their own personal health and wellness journeys. The two had spent years learning all they could about nutrition, fitness, health, and wellness - and after putting all of their learnings into practice, managed to successfully reimagine their lives and grow their tiny saplings of hope into an abundant garden of success.

The two were more than motivated to share with the world the knowledge, skills, and information they deployed to reach their own personal goals, hoping that their teachings would both inspire others and assist in reaching their own transformations.

Starting small, the couple reached out to friends and family looking to start a grass root movement of health and wellness for those around them. Passion took hold, and the two realized a love for helping others in the field of health and wellness, which lead to the grand idea of forming Roots, Health and Wellness Partners.

Roots is now structured to reach countless individuals across the globe in an effort to touch the lives of as many individuals as possible. We know from first hand experience how doable, and how rewarding, leading the life you dream of living can be. Roots Health and Wellness Partners is here to root for you, every step of the way!

Sydnie Adkins
Co-Owner | CEO | Health Coach

I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach. 

I completed my Health & Wellness Coaching training through Nutrition Factors shortly after earning my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nutrition Studies from Purdue University Global.

I was raised in Texas and found a place to settle in North Carolina with my wonderful fiancée, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 100 or so houseplants in 2023.



Nick Paladino
Co-Owner | CCO | Product Manager

I am a Designer with a Masters in Design from Full Sail University

I completed my Bachelors and Masters in Design at Full Sail University and employ my skills to assist in the development and function of Roots Health and Wellness Partners among other duties.

I have moved around quite a bit, now settled in North Carolina with my fiancée and home full of living critters and plants.



Our Approach

Our focus is on incremental, sustainable lifestyle changes that progress you towards your wellness goals.

Our practice is client-centered, meaning that the goals and direction of the sessions are set by what is most important to the client - you! We will never tell you what to do or how to do it, we are here to be your partner in your health and wellness journey.

During our sessions, we will get to know each other. We will learn what is important to you and together we will uncover your strengths and motivators. A "Wellness Vision" will be created to guide you on your journey and together, we will curate goals and milestones to get you to the life you want to be living.


Wellness Vision

Think of your Wellness Vision like the North Star. It gives you direction and something to aim for. Having a clear vision of your ideal wellness gives clarity for creating and executing the goals you set. Our coaches will help you craft the wellness vision that will serve you best.


Goal Setting

Be clear, be confident, and don’t overthink it. We will be using the SMART goal layout to ensure your goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. Each goal set will have action steps in place. Be open to experiment and learn from the journey.
